Drivers are set to face a 70-mile diversion route while part of the A12 is closed for five nights in east Suffolk.
A section of the road will be closed near Southwold between Blythburgh and Darsham between Monday and Saturday this week.
According to the Suffolk County Council website, the official diversion route is 70 miles long.
The road was closed earlier this year to allow urgent works to be carried out by Suffolk Highways.
The road will be closed from 8pm until 5am, while Suffolk Highways carries out essential works.
The diversion route will take drivers along the A1120, A140, A143, A145, A12 and vice versa.
