A bakery will be closing its doors later this year as the retail space is put on the market. 

Rebecca Cockett opened the first Mama Bears Cake Bar store in Saxmundham nearly two years ago after she set up the business three years prior. 

Following the success of the pastel pink bakery, the business expanded to open a second bakery in Ipswich at the end of last year. 

The bakery sells a range of cakes and baked goods alongside made to order celebration cakes.

Ms Cockett said: "Our Saxmundham store will be closing later this year as the lease has come to a natural end. 

"We will be looking for new premises for future shops."

The bakery in The Walks in Ipswich will remain open with no changes.

The bakery in 18 High Street in Saxmundham has been listed by Fennel Charted Surveyors to let for £12,000 per annum.
