An east Suffolk Italian restaurant run by a TV presenter has been listed by the Telegraph as one of the best places to grab a lunch for under £30.
Watson and Walpole, in Framlingham, has been named as one of the best places to grab a lunch for a bargain by the Telegraph.
Only a few months ago, the same restaurant was named by the the Good Food Guide as one of the best Italian restaurants across the country in 2024.

The "neighbourly" Italian restaurant offers a two-course lunch for £21.

The restaurant was opened in 2020 by business partners Rob Walpole andThe Telegraph recommends that on July’s "menù fisso, burrata with griddled nectarines or a seafood salad are preludes to either house-made agnolotti alla gricia (guanciale) or paccheri with duck ragù with a side of moreish zucchini fritti".
Desserts cost extra, but just up the road by Framlingham Castle, the owners also run an ice cream shop.
