A friendship group has donated £750 to a mental health charity in a generous show of support.
Bury St Edmunds Men's Shed received the cheque from St Edmundsbury Oddfellows at the end of June.
The Men’s Shed opens its doors every Saturday at The Centre UK, inviting folk to enjoy recreation and companionship.
Each year, the Oddfellows choose a community initiative to financially back.
Speaking on behalf of the Oddfellows, district social events organiser Jacky Nunn said: “It’s great to see the local Men’s Shed’s supportive community grow steadily since its formation three years ago.

"Being able to help the charity meet its financial demands and help its members is important to us."
Men’s Shed, part of a network of 1,100 similar groups nationwide, welcomed the donation.
Its treasurer, Colin Knight, said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the Oddfellows’ support.
"It will make a big difference to our growing service and what we can provide to our local members."
The group, founded in 2021, regularly attracts around 25 attendees who engage in various activities, from woodworking to playing cards.
