One of the country's biggest flooring retailers has announced the closure of five Suffolk stores after filing for administration.
Carpetright filed a notice of intent to appoint administrators following a fall in demand for carpets and a major cyber attack in April which halted trade.
Carpetright has now been bought in a rescue deal by rival Tapi, but its new owners will shut more than 200 stores and cut more than 1,000 jobs across the country.

In Suffolk, the stores that have been confirmed to close include the branch in Ransoms Retail Park in Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds, Lowestoft, Thetford, and Sudbury.
The two stores that will be saved are Anglia Park in Ipswich and the Newmarket store in Oaks Drive.

Kevin Barrett, of Carpetright's previous owner, Nestware, said: "Whilst we succeeded in finding a buyer, the deal is limited to a select number of stores, rather than the business a whole, and will sadly impact a large number of colleagues and staff.
"We have tried everything to turn Carpetright around and I am truly sorry that we were unable to save more jobs."
Tapi had agreed to buy 54 Carpetright stores, two warehouses, the brand and its intellectual property in a pre-pack administration deal.
However, the deal will not save the majority of the business, including its head office in Purfleet, Essex.
The 213 confirmed branch closures are expected to happen in the coming days.
