Part of the A14 was closed in west Suffolk after a crash.
Emergency services were called to the collision on the eastbound carriageway near Kentford, between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds, at about 1.15pm on Sunday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said the eastbound carriageway was shut.
It has since reopened.
According to the AA Traffic Map, traffic is starting to build in both directions.
Four appliances from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service were also called to the scene.
