A person was taken to hospital following a crash which blocked the A12 in east Suffolk.
Emergency services including Suffolk police were called to a collision involving two vehicles on the major route in Wrentham, near Southwold, at about 4.40pm on Wednesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said a black Kia and beige Citroen were involved in the crash.
A full road closure was put in place just after 5pm as diesel was spilled on the carriage way.
Three fire engines from Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service attended the scene from Wrentham and Lowestoft South stations.
One woman had to be extracted from a vehicle.

A spokeswoman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 4.39pm with reports of a collision in High Street, Wrentham.
"We sent the East Anglian Air Ambulance, one ambulance and a rapid response vehicle.
"One person was taken to James Paget Hospital for further care."
A lane reopened on the A12 at about 6.45pm with the road fully reopening later that night.
