Outline plans for five homes in a village have been given the go-ahead.
Babergh District Council has approval proposals for the properties in Hadleigh Road in Elmsett, near Hadleigh.
The homes form part of a wider development of seven homes, which were granted permission in 2018.
A planning statement said the houses would provide jobs for local people and contribute to the local economy.
Documents suggest all of the properties will be single-storey dwellings.
It reads: "There is nothing to suggest that this proposal would not integrate into its surroundings well, seeking to make appropriate use of the site without dominating adjacent development or the village as a whole."
There would be provision for the parking of electric cars at the properties.

The officer's delegated report stated the proposed access is considered to be "safe and suitable".
It adds the proposed development would not result in an increased flood risk.
Proposals for five homes to be built in Elmsett Road were recently submitted to the council.
A property would be demolished to make way for the development.
