An award-winning Suffolk pub has extended its opening hours to seven days a week for the summer.
The White Lion pub, Ufford, is hoping warmer weather will encourage customers to frequent its newly revamped outdoor area.
After limiting opening hours during winter, it is expecting a flux of visitors during the school holidays.
Pub manager Andy Jarrett, 33, said the decision was a leap of faith in the pub and its clientele.
He said: "The White Lion has always been supported by its locals who come to the pub in sunshine and rain."
The pub has added new benches and tables in its garden, providing an unsurpassed view of the countryside.
New job opportunities have been created because of the extended hours.
Additionally, the venue is now hosting a monthly open mic event and is preparing for its annual three-day beer festival during the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Food will be served between specific hours and a new summer menu has been introduced with traditional British cuisine available.
