During the works a road closure will be in place between the junction with The Street in Stowlangtoft and Sandy Lane in Grimstone End to ensure the safety of road users and operatives from Suffolk Highways.

The official diversion route is around 20 miles long and will take traffic along the A1088, A14 and A143.

A spokesman for Suffolk Highways confirmed access will be maintained for businesses and residents and all businesses in Norton will be open as usual.
