The A11 in Suffolk is closed due to a vehicle fire with emergency services at the scene.
The A11 is closed northbound between the A1065 and A1101 at Barton Mills and the B1106 at Elveden on Tuesday evening.
Emergency services are on scene dealing with the incident and National Highway Traffic contractors are en route to assist with traffic management.
A northbound diversion route has been supplied to redirect traffic.
At Five Ways Roundabout, drivers should take the second exit onto the A1065 and continue through RAF Lakenheath to the Junction with the B1106.
Turn right onto the B1106 and continue to the junction with Green Road.
At the junction turn left and continue on Green Road to the junction with the B1107.
Turn right and continue on the B1107 to re-join the A11 at the B1107 roundabout.
National Highway are advising motorists to plan ahead, re-route or even delay their journeys.
