A much-loved Suffolk hotel has been named among the best hotels along the coast.
The Suffolk in Aldeburgh, which opened in the coastal town in 2022, has been named among the best in the UK by the national newspaper The Telegraph.
The Telegraph said "Visitors to Aldeburgh and locals flock to this seafront site for its lauded restaurant, sea-view roof terrace and creative cocktail bar".
The Suffolk is one of the county's best-loved locations for a meal out on the Suffolk coast.
Earlier this month the hotel was included in a guide by the Sunday Times.
Not only does it have an excellent reputation for its locally sourced menu but for its elegant and cosy rooms as well, making it an ideal location to ditch the cab and stay the night.
The restaurant is no stranger to national recognition either, most recently it gained a top spot on Time Out magazine's '16 Best Restaurants in the UK'.
Leonie Cooper, Time Out's food and drink editor, said the restaurant's "ice-cold Martinis", "oysters from nearby Butley Creek" and lobster and chips are "to be reckoned with", while the snails are "so good".
