The A14 in west Suffolk is to remain closed for emergency repairs to take place after a lorry crash.
A lorry crashed into the central reservation at about 3am Friday, causing lane closures.
Recovery vehicles attended the scene where the central barrier appears "significantly" damaged, National Highways said.
One lane remains closed in both directions on the A14 between junction 37 for Newmarket and junction 38 for Kennett in Cambridgeshire and is expected to be closed for the afternoon.
According to the AA road map, traffic is still being recorded as slow and there are delays in the area.
