A new shoe store has opened in a west Suffolk town centre.
The new Deichmann shop has opened inside the Arc shopping centre in Bury St Edmunds.
According to the Arc shopping centre the store opened earlier this week and will be hosting a special day of giveaways on Saturday.
The store will be offering free shoes to the first 25 customers on Saturday and will have a spin the wheel game where people can win discounts and prizes.
The store has taken over the former Peacocks unit following a £600,000 refit after the fashion retailer closed its doors in January.
In March, documents submitted to West Suffolk Council stated that Deichmann is to undertake the fit out of the shop, with proposed works to the ground floor to create a sales area, staff facilities and a stockroom.
It comes after Primark opened its doors inside the Arc shopping Ccntre earlier this year.
The budget fashion retailer took over the former Debenhams store in March after months of anticipation.
