A road in a Suffolk village will close for nearly two weeks this month for overnight works.
The A1088 Thetford Road in Ixworth, near Bury St Edmunds and the A143, will close from 8pm and 5am on weekdays between Monday, July 8 and Thursday, July 18.

Suffolk Highways said the road will be closed for pre-surface dressing repairs and the closure will be in place to ensure the safety of highway users and workers.

A 28-mile diversion route will be in place along the A143, A134, A11, A1066, A1088 and vice versa.
