The closure of a key route into a Suffolk town has been delayed, Suffolk Highways has confirmed.
Tayfen Road in Bury St Edmunds was expected to be closed between Monday, July 22 to Monday, August 5 while a new sewage system was installed.
However, Suffolk Highways has confirmed that the road closure has now been postponed until a later date.
A spokesman for Suffolk Highways said: "The programmed work due to take place along Tayfen Road, Bury St Edmunds for the installation of sewage and water pipes to the new housing development has been postponed."
A new closure date is yet to be announced.
