The A11 in west Suffolk closed after a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at around 1.40pm to reports of a van colliding with a lorry between Red Lodge and Barton Mills, near Mildenhall.
It was then reported, at about 1.44pm, that another collision occurred between a car and the debris left at the incident.

Police, fire and ambulance services attended the scene.

An individual was initially trapped after the collision and had to be freed.
An injured individual was taken to hospital.
Drivers were warned of delays and advised to find alternative routes.
