A driver was left "distressed" after an object was thrown from a footbridge in a coastal town.
Officers in Felixstowe received reports of an object being thrown from the bridge over the Port Of Felixstowe Road in the early hours of Wednesday.
Damage was caused to the windscreen of a passing vehicle but no one was seriously injured.

A spokesman for the police said: "This was a distressing incident for those involved and we continue our investigation to identify the person responsible for this offence."
