A café serving "a range of fresh food centred around community" including coconut dhal curry, mac 'n' cheese and jacket potato, has opened in a Suffolk office turned "innovation centre".

The Hub, which opened at the Epicentre, near Haverhill in west Suffolk, on Monday, June 17, is now being run by catering company PINCH, which says it is passionate about bringing "fresh food" and "fresh energy" to the local community.

The café, which is open to the public its office residents, will replace The Hive, which recently left the premises after its contract ended and it moved back into its parent company Nine Jars at the Suffolk Hotel on Haverhill High Street.

He added: "The food at The Hub is all about sharing and meeting people which is perfect for us. So far we've had build-it-yourself nachos, deconstructed pork brioche buns' and 'fish finger sandwiches. This is the type of food people can bond over and it gets people talking."

She added: "The cafe is open to everyone and offers something different. People can enjoy a nice walk over to The Hub and they can grab a coffee, and see what we're serving up on the day and enjoy our nice relaxing community environment."

The cafe will be open from 8.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday serving a range of coffees, pastries and snacks all day.

The chef specials will be cooked fresh every day and available from 12pm to 2pm.
