Drivers have been warned as a road will close for five days and a 43-mile diversion route will be in place as Suffolk Highways carry out resurfacing works.
The A134 Bridge Street, near Long Melford, north of Sudbury, will be closed from Monday, July 8 until Friday, July 12 as part of the project.

A spokesperson for Suffolk Highways said: "The road will be closed to ensure the safety of highway users and our operatives."

The diversion route will be in place along A134, A1141, A1071, A134 and vice versa.
Drivers have been advised to allow extra time for journeys or to seek alternative routes.
