Outline plans to build three homes in a Suffolk village have been submitted.
Phil Cobbold planning, on behalf of the applicant, has lodged proposals with Babergh District Council for homes to be built on land south of Brent Eleigh Road in Monks Eleigh.
The proposed site for the properties is considered as brownfield land due to the fact that there are remnants of previous buildings.
A planning statement said the three homes would be self-builds and would be near to the amenities in the village.

Each home would have a "satisfactory level of amenity space" for parking of cars and leisure.
The properties would be bespoke and unique due to being self-builds, however it is expected that the buildings will reflect traditional Suffolk homes.
"This proposal will help to redress the current shortfall in self-build plots and will assist the council in meeting its statutory duty to provide sufficient self-build plots to meet demand," the application adds.
"The proposed development fulfils the three objectives of sustainable development and would provide economic, social and environmental benefits."
