A man has been arrested in connection with multiple robberies involving electronic items for sale on Facebook Marketplace.
Police were made aware of two robberies in which a buyer made contact with the seller and arrived at an agreed location to pay for the items which included laptops and phones.
The suspect appeared to make a bank transfer on his phone which did not go through.
Both robberies took place in Colchester and in one incident the suspect pushed the victim and took the item.
