A learner driver had their car seized after being caught driving without valid insurance.
A police officer stopped the driver in Haverhill while on patrol after watching the car pull out in front of another vehicle and fail to stop for someone at a crossing.
The driver was found to be a learner with a provisional license who was driving without L plates on the car and without a designated supervisor.

The officer contacted the insurance provider which confirmed the insurance was invalid at the time.
The car was seized and a traffic offence report was issued for driving otherwise in accordance with a driving license and no insurance.
A spokesman for the police said: "Rather than just using police powers without education, it was explained exactly what needed to drive on a provisional driver's licence to the driver and they were taken home rather than being left on the side of the road."
