A historic hotel has launched an afternoon tea inspired by an author considered to be one of the best British writers.
The Pickwick Afternoon Tea is on offer every day at The Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds.
It is inspired by Charles Dickens, who often stayed at the former coaching house while writing The Pickwick Papers.
The renowned author first stayed at the hotel in 1835 while working as a journalist for The Morning Chronicle.
