Primary school pupils have been evacuated following a reported "threat".
Parents received messages from Bawdsey Primary School, near Woodbridge, at around 9am this morning, that the school was being evacuated due to a threat.
Police officers attended the school to investigate reports of malicious communication and have since confirmed the incident was a hoax.

Acting Inspector Ian Davies said: “The school chose to evacuate as a precaution and officers attended to check the premises and grounds.
"We were there to ensure public safety and provide reassurance to the school and local community. At this time it is believed these communications amount to a hoax.”
Police confirmed to parents that a "threat" was made and children were evacuated to a nearby village hall.

Officers are working with Bawdsey Primary School to establish the full circumstances.
The school has been contacted for further comment.
