After heavy wind and rain in May and a cold start to June, it feels like summer is never coming to Suffolk.
To add insult to injury, the Met Office has suggested that we are looking at yet more showers and below-average temperatures in June.
A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Much of June in the UK has been in a cool, northly air flow which has impacted temperatures across the country.

"From today we are seeing a change with low pressures systems to the west of the UK bringing a period of rain and showers.
"Conditions will be more cloudy, wet and windy for many in East Anglia.
"The last time the first 10 days of June was this cold was in 2020"
"However, there will be a gradual increase in temperature, perhaps towards average for the time of year and it will feel pleasant in when there is any sunshine."
