Staff at a Suffolk town salon wiped away tears of happiness after winning further accolades in a distinguished awards event this month.

The awards, which highlighted the team at Salon Nine's "exceptional attention to detail", come after Rebecca Clark was presented with Bridal Salon of the Year Award at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards in Birmingham on Saturday, June 1.

Since, Lauren Jessop, 20, a rising talent in the industry, has been revealed as securing fourth place in the Rising Star category. 

In addition to this, Amani Bainbridge, 22, was honoured in the top 50 for Hair Stylist of the Year.

Salon manager Saffron Brown, 23, was also recognised as being in the top 20 for the "Best for Blondes" category.

Lauren said: "I can't believe it, I've only been in the industry for one year."

Rebecca Clark, the owner of Salon Nine, based in Haverhill, said: "I'm so proud of the whole team. These awards highlight their exceptional attention to detail and dedication to their craft."
