Brenden Arundel, head gardener at the estate, said: "The sunsets that we see across the estate are spectacular and these late openings are the perfect opportunity for people to enjoy the gardens during open hour."
Tickets are £9 for adults and £4.50 for children aged between five and 15 years old.
The extended hours make up part of the summer event lineup at Helmingham Hall.
The estate is hosting live music and performances on Sunday afternoons until August 18.
