While it doesn't feel like it yet, summer is here and we should all be enjoying some warm Suffolk rays soon.
No one wants to be stuck inside this summer, so here's a list of five of the best outdoor activities to enjoy in Suffolk with friends, family or on your own.
Africa Alive
When: 10am - 4pm weekdays / 10am - 4pm weekends

Immerse yourself in nature and learn about endangered animals in over 100 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside.
As well as being able to see a variety of animals the reserve also offers a great outdoor play area, as well as restaurants, free parking, disabled facilities and a gift shop.
Jimmy's Farm
When: 10am - 5pm
Price: £20 Adult / £17 Child / Under 2's and carers go free
More than just a farm, this wildlife park offers Europe's largest polar bear reserve, lemurs, anteaters, reindeer, reptiles and much more.
The 20-year-old farm also boasts an impressive shop with various ingredients and dishes straight farm to fork.
There is also an adventure play area and woodland adventures for the kids to enjoy.
RSPB Minsmere
Where: Sheepwash Ln, Westleton, Saxmundham IP17 3BY
When: 9am - 5pm
Price: £9 Adult / £5 Child / Under 5's, 16-25's and members
Last year RSPB Minsmere, which sits between Dunwich and Sizewell by the Suffolk coast, was voted as being one of the best locations in the world to watch nature by Discover Wildlife.
Some of the UK's rarest wildlife inhabit Minsmere nature reserve including Avocets, Bearded Tits, Bitterns and even otters.
Congo Rapids Lost World Adventure Golf
Where: B1438, Melton, Woodbridge IP12 1QW
When: 9.45am - 8.30pm Weekdays / 9.45am - 8.00pm Weekends
Price: £8.50 adults / £6.50 children
The Congo Rapids adventure starts by taking a self-propelled raft across a lagoon, then you pass a plane crash and explore an abandoned temple, before reaching the land of the dinosaurs.
This 18 hole golf course is the perfect summer day activity and while it may not closely resemble the African rainforest it's themed after, it's definitely a lot of fun.
Alton Water Park
When: Beach is open 10am -5pm / Carpark 9am - 6pm
Price: Free depending on activity
Stretching over 400 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside, Alton Water offers fishing, sailing, windsurfing other water sports activities along with nature reserves, cycle hire, and mini golf.
There is also a café and various picnic sites so you can joy a nice meal and a break in between activities.
