A restaurant featuring dishes exclusively curated by celebrity chef Marco Pierre White is set to open in Suffolk at the end of the month.
The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Felixstowe will open its doors on June 27 following a major hotel refurbishment.
It will be located at The Brook Hotel in Orwell Road, which is being transformed into a boutique-style hotel to be called Hotel Coco with a £750k makeover.
Restaurant guests will be served what has been described as "affordable glamour" with signature steaks and "timeless" English and French classics the menu.
The major work will also see the opening of a new pub-based venue called The Queen’s Head - under the Marco Pierre White Ale House brand. It will be the first of its kind in the country.
General manager Andrew Vales said: “Interest and excitement has been building as work continues to convert the building into the new hotel, restaurant and pub.
“To announce that guests can now start to reserve a table will only add to the anticipation of dining in our Marco Pierre White restaurant.
“We’ve now appointed the team who will be undergoing their training in time for June 27.
The ethos was a friendly, relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy a delicious meal no matter what the occasion or time of day, he said.
“It’s not pretentious, just great food served in a great atmosphere.”
