A Suffolk hotel has been named among the best in the UK for trips with your four-legged friends.
The Ickworth Hotel in Horringer near Bury St Edmunds has been included in the list by The Times for the best dog-friendly hotels in the UK.
Describing the hotel travel writer Yvette Caster said: "The Ickworth is one of those country house hotels in which you can pretend you’ve befriended some member of the landed gentry.
"There’s a cosiness about the place and a welcome that extends to furry friends. In addition to dog beds, bowls and treats, a canine menu includes a beef supper, ice cream and “beer” for dogs.
"Although pups are not allowed in the restaurants, you can leave them with the reception team or borrow a fur-baby monitor while they stay in the room.
"Alternatively, eat with your pup in one of the lounges."
Visitors are also able to explore the 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland and gardens as well as the hotel's spa and pool.
