Drivers are being warned as police help to escort five abnormal loads through Suffolk this week.
Suffolk police are notifying drivers of possible delays while the escorts take place.
The first will take place on Tuesday at 10am when a load is transported from Lion Barn Industrial Estate in Needham Market to Sizewell.
The route is as follows: Local roads – B1113 – A14 – A12 – B1122 – Lover’s Lane – Local roads to site.
On Wednesday at 9am police will be escorting another load from Rushden to Sizewell.
Drivers are being warned of the escort route which is as follows: A14 Cambs border – A12 – B1122 – Lover’s Lane – Local roads to site.
Later on Wednesday at 11.30am police will escort a second load from Sizewell to Hemel Hempstead.
The route is as follows: Local roads – Lover’s Lane – B1122 – A12 A14 – A12 Essex border.
Also on Wednesday at 1pm Suffolk police will help with the escort of an abnormal load from Rushden to Sizewell.
The escort route will be: A14 Cambs border – A12 – B1122 – Lover’s Lane – Local roads to site.
At 3pm Wednesday police will escort a load from Sizewell to Hemel Hempstead.
The route is as follows: Local roads – Lover’s Lane – B1122 – A12 A14 – A12 Essex border.
