A wanted criminal who absconded from an east Suffolk prison has been charged following the recovery of four stolen vehicles.
Just after 3pm on Sunday, May 26, police received reports of the theft of an Audi RS5 stolen from a driveway in Harleston following a burglary at the address.
Officers from Suffolk and Norfolk created a perimeter in the local area to prevent the car from leaving with the occupants in the stolen car failing to stop before abandoning the vehicle and running away.
The incident followed the discovery of a stolen Porsche Panamera in a car park in Norwich city centre earlier in the day.

The occupants of the car were found to have travelled to Harleston in a Ford Focus ST which was stolen from Essex in March of this year.
It was located nearby with no number plates and was seized by police.
CCTV enquiries identified the occupants leaving the area in a separate car heading towards Bury St Edmunds where they were stopped a short time later.
All four occupants were arrested and taken to Bury St Edmunds police station for questioning.
