A prominent restaurant chain has revealed the name of its newest branch opening inside a former bank in west Suffolk.
Loungers UK Limited submitted applications for a food-led café and bar to open in the former Barclays bank building in Newmarket's High Street.
The chain currently operates 230 restaurants across the country through two brands, The Lounges and The Cosy Clubs, and has restaurants in Bury St Edmunds and Sudbury, as well as Cosy Club in Ipswich.

A new application submitted to West Suffolk Council has revealed the restaurant coming to the town will be called Potro Lounge.
The chain has applied for advertising consent for two externally illuminated fascia signs, one externally illuminated hanging sign, one internally illuminated menu board sign and three non-illuminated fascia signs.
Documents also show pictures of what the restaurant could look like inside once work is completed.

Newmarket is not the only town in Suffolk where the restaurant chain is expanding.
Ipswich Borough Council gave the green light to plans for a restaurant on Ipswich Waterfront.
It is hoped the Ipswich branch will open in October.
