Pictures released by the fire service show the extent of damage caused by a serious blaze in a seaside town.
A total of 15 appliances were called to the blaze which broke out at an address in Victoria Street in Felixstowe at about 6.30pm on Wednesday.
Speaking late on Wednesday evening, a spokesman for Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said the incident was under control but relief crews would remain on scene throughout the night damping down and assisting colleagues from Suffolk police and UK Power Networks.
Photographs show the building has suffered serious damage to its roof as a result of the blaze.
There were initial calls about a bin fire previously, but the fire service received multiple calls referencing thick black smoke.
Crews from Ipswich East, Woodbridge, Princes Street, Holbrook, Felixstowe and Needham Market fire stations were deployed to the scene.
A road closure was put in place by Suffolk police, but this has since been lifted.
No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
