A thunderstorm warning has been issued for parts of Suffolk.
The Met Office has issued the yellow weather warning for the north of the region.
The warning covers the areas surrounding Beccles, Eye and Mildenhall in the north of the county and is in place from 2pm to 7pm on Tuesday.
Travel could be affected, as driving conditions might worsen with the spray from other cars and potential hail that might fall.
Flooding to a few homes and businesses is also possible, as well as building damage from lightning strikes.
The Met Office says that it is safer not to drive during thunderstorms, but asks that those who have to drive slow down, use main roads, turn on their dipped headlights, and leave a larger gap between the car in front.
Heavy rain is also expected to sweep across the county today.
