Organisers of a town's carnival are hoping to see "lots of people" this year after announcing a line-up that includes a performance by a Britpop tribute band.
The Felixstowe Carnival is set to take place over the weekend from Friday, July 26 to Sunday, July 28 and will include a performance by the Counterfeit Brits at the Beachside Events Area at 8.15pm on the Saturday.
The festivities will begin with a carnival proms night, featuring a performance by Suffolk-based big band Swing Machine, on the Friday between 7pm and 10pm.

The traditional procession will take place the following day when floats will line up in Colneis Road before setting off on a route along Beatrice Avenue, Hamilton Road, Orwell Road, Garrison Lane, Undercliff Road West, before finishing in Sea Road.
Last year, about 50 floats participated in the procession and organisers are hoping to match the number this year, with floats still being able to book a place in the parade through the carnival's website.
Majorettes and marching bands will accompany the parade.
