Plans for a new garden centre on the outskirts of a Suffolk town have been given the green light.
Perrywood Sudbury has been given planning permission by Babergh District Council to build the new garden centre which will include a restaurant.
The plans, submitted to the council in December, stated that part of the existing garden centre off the A134 would be demolished and extended.
It comes after Perrywood was granted permission to build a brand new garden centre in June 2021.
The new project was expected to cost around £10 million and create 120 new jobs.
However, in November 2022 bosses announced they would no longer be going ahead with the plans due to "spiralling costs and the increased cost of borrowing".
A design and access statement submitted with the plans said that due to the current economic and building climate, in which construction costs and interest rates were significantly high, an alterative design and a greener drainage strategy was required to feasibly deliver the development.
