A sushi bar in a west Suffolk village could start selling alcohol if an application before a district council is given the green light.
Tokyo Oysy Sushi in Holmsey Green in Beck Row, near Mildenhall, has applied for permission from West Suffolk Council's licencing team.
The sushi bar and takeaway would like to sell alcohol to be consumed by customers who are dining in at the restaurant.
The application form before West Suffolk Council has proposed that alcohol would be sold at Tokyo Oysy from 11am to 3pm and 4.30pm to 10pm from Monday to Thursday.
The business would also sell alcohol from 11am to 10pm on Friday and Saturday, as well as 2pm to 9pm on Sundays.
Representations on the plan can be made to West Suffolk council, via email to licensing@westsuffolk.gov.uk, by June 12.
