A pop up Thai street food restaurant will be coming to a Suffolk coastal town.

Phat Khao which specialises in modern-style Thai street food will be at Beach Street in Felixstowe.

The pop up restaurant will be in place from Thursday (May 16) to Sunday (May 19) at the coastal venue.

Beach Street is a unique dining hot spot in the seaside town that has been created from upcycled shipping containers.

Phat Khao, is a nod to the cuisine as egg fried rice is khao phat in Thai, serves a range of curries, pad Thai noodles and sides.

Dishes are priced from £8 to £12 and there is also an option for a meal deal which includes Thai prawn crackers, spring rolls, any main with Jasmine rice mini plain pad Thai for £17.50.

Ryan and Rebecca Galvin, from Briston, near Holt in Norfolk, started their business during lockdown when they travelled to towns and villages offering their Thai food dishes.

The pair decided last year to invest in a bigger truck as their business was thriving.
