A tattoo studio says business has been "absolutely insane"  with customers wanting to mark Ipswich Town's promotion success.

Lucky 13 Tattoo Studio, based in St Margaret's Street, Ipswich, has said they have done about 300 Ipswich Town related tattoos since the club got promoted back to the Premier League.

Paul Stansby and Jamie Hart, co-owners of the studio, have said that since Monday, the day 55,000 people came to the town to enjoy the bus parade, they have done about 300 tattoos, equating to around 42 a day.

Mr Stansby said: "It's been absolutely insane. Busy is an understatement.

"The phone is non-stop, I finish chatting to someone, put the phone down, and then it rings again and I pick it up again.

"We have people walking in off the streets that I have never seen before.

"It's really opened up the business to new customers, as well as older ones that want to show their love for the club."

Mr Stansby estimates they may eventually do about a thousand tattoos relating to Ipswich Town, with more people booking in to get a lasting reminder of the club's historic achievement tattooed on their bodies.

Since the club got promoted back to the Premier League last weekend, people have shared on X the artwork that they have had done.

One of these was Town fan Kieron Wye, 22, who got the name of Australian international and Town centre-back 'Cameron Burgess 15' tattooed on his leg in respect of the player.
