A huge car show with a special flypast by Second World War planes is returning to a west Suffolk village. 

Cars On The Green is holding its show at Bardwell Village Green on Sunday, May 26 from 10am until 5pm. 

It's the 12th show to be held at the village near Bury St Edmunds with free entry but a £5 charge for parking.

There will be more than 200 cars and bikes on display throughout the day with judging and trophies available for exhibiting vehicles. 

A highlight of this year's event will be a flypast by two Spitfires from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

The flypast will take place at 1pm, weather permitting.

As well as the display of motor vehicles there will be stalls with refreshments with the village hall and nearby pubs open all day. 

There will also be live music on stage from The Knightingales and Richard Ashcroft.
