Work is to begin on upgrading two play areas with more than 60 pieces of equipment.
Babergh District Council has confirmed that the new play areas being built are on Poplar Road, in Great Cornard, and Uplands Road, in Sudbury.
The new play area in Sudbury will include an inclusive carousel, a climbing frame, three sets of swings, a seesaw and much more.
It will have 20-plus features and will be able to facilitate 50 children from the age of two to twelve years old at one time.
The play area in Great Cornard will include an inclusive mega swing, social rocking chairs, an imagination area, a challenging play area and much more.
It will have 45-plus features and will be able to facilitate 70 children from the age of one to twelve years old at one time.
Babergh District Council say both new play areas are designed to ensure "that users of a range of ages and abilities can learn, interact, imagine and play together."
