A drug driver who was caught with cannabis and cocaine on the outskirts of Ipswich has been sentenced.
Jashim Al-Fattah, of Spanby Road in London, appeared before Suffolk Magistrates' Court in Ipswich on March 5.
The 53-year-old was charged with possession of cannabis, possession of cocaine and driving while over the drug limit.
These charges were in relation to a Mercedes E220 being stopped at the Copdock Interchange, outside of Ipswich, on August 4 last year.
A court listing said Al-Fattah was accused of having benzoylecgonine, a cocaine breakdown product, in his system at a level that exceeded the legal limit.
The defendant pleaded guilty to the three charges at the court.
Al-Fattah was handed a fine of £120 for the charges of possessing drugs, and the cannabis and cocaine was forfeited and destroyed.
He was also handed a driving ban of 14 months.
Al-Fattah's guilty pleas to the three charges were taken into consideration when he was sentenced by magistrates.
