Residents are being invited to have their say on Greene King plans for a new state-of-the-art £40million brewery in Bury St Edmunds.
Greene King has unveiled plans to construct a new facility next to its distribution centre at Suffolk Park in the town.
The move, which is slated for completion in 2027, will see its brewing operations move from the current Westgate Brewery when it is completed.
Now, residents are being invited to give feedback on the plans with two consultation events planned.
A drop-in will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at Bury St Edmunds Market between 9am and 4pm.
Visitors will be able to view the proposals, ask questions and share feedback with Greene King staff.
A live webinar will then take place on Thursday, May 16 at 6pm. Interested parties can register on the website www.greenekingconsultation.co.uk.
Feedback can also be sent to contact@greenekingconsultation.co.uk or via the freephone 0808 1688 296.
A letter posted through resident's doors inviting them to take part in the consultation stated: "Greene King is in the early stages of developing plans to deliver a new state-of-the-art brewery at Suffolk Business Park Extension in Bury St Edmunds.
"The custom-built facility will provide a modern, sustainable new home to enable us to secure the the future of our brewing operations in Bury and continue to be a leading employer in the community for many years to come."
It stated building on the 200-year history in the town the move would see a £40m investment made in the new brewery, continue to support employment in the town and improve operations by creating connections to the adjacent distribution centre, reducing HGVs in the town centre.
Greene King is the country's leading pub retailer and brewer with some 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels across the country.
