There were long delays on the A14 as police attended a four-vehicle crash.
Officers were called to the eastbound carriageway at Wherstead, south of Ipswich, at about 8am on Tuesday.
A spokesman for Suffolk police said one van and three cars were involved in the crash.
No serious injuries have been reported, the spokesman confirmed.
According to the AA Traffic Map there were severe delays in the area.
An image taken from the Traffic Cameras platform showed a number of cars queuing due to the incident.
