How long are the walks?

The walks vary in length with some shorter and some longer hikes across Suffolk.

Walks should be chosen with care, with the pace and fitness ratings taken into consideration.

How much do walks cost?

There are many different prices for the walks taking place as part of the event.

Some walks such as The Tales of the River in Honington are free while others such as Walk with a Sheepdog in Orford will cost £25.

Can I buy tickets on the day?

Organisers of the event said booking is essential as each walk has a maximum group size.

Walk leaders are unable to take money on the day and all walks must be paid for in advance with ticket sales closing the day before each walk.

Refunds will not be given unless a walk is cancelled or in exceptional circumstances.

Are children and dogs allowed on walks?

Children under 12 are welcome on most walks but must be accompanied by an adult.

Dogs are not accepted on every walk as some go through conservation areas but on walks they are allowed on, dogs should be kept under control.

Further information about the event can be found on the Suffolk Walking Festival website.
