Three air ambulances have been called to a major crash on a Suffolk A-road.
The collision on the A142 Fordham Road in Newmarket has been declared a "critical incident" by the East of England Ambulance Services.
The road was partially blocked with queuing traffic both ways between Landwade Road and the A14 J37 at around 3.40pm.
Multiple ambulance crews are at the scene.
Three fire crews, one from Burwell and two from Newmarket, were called to the crash at 4.23pm.
Three individuals were extricated from vehicles at the road traffic incident.
The stop message for fire crews was recorded at 5.12pm.
