Police have put a cordon in place outside a supermarket in a town centre as emergency services attend an incident.
Officers and the ambulance service could be seen outside the Iceland store in Sudbury's North Street at about 4.30pm on Thursday.
A witness at the scene reported seeing police tape sealing off the entrance to the supermarket.
He also said there were several people inside the store while police and paramedics were outside.
The air ambulance was seen landing at Sudbury Cricket Club, which Suffolk police confirmed is related to the incident at Iceland.
The nature of the incident is not yet clear.
