A gym offering coach led classes with an aim to create a safe space for the community is opening near Ipswich this weekend. 

After years of working in the fitness industry, Ben Caldwell and Suze Money-Schenk teamed up to from Claydon CrossFit which will be based at Claydon Business Park in Great Blakenham. 

The gym will offer a variety individual coach based and group classes as well as personal training focused on the CrossFit model.

As well as giving people the opportunity to workout in classes and access the facilities outside of sessions, the owners want the gym to be a safe space for the local community.

"You become part of the community you are in," said Ms Money-Schenk. "We want to give back to the people in the local area." 

Claydon CrossFit will be opening its doors to eager gym-goers at 9am on Saturday, May 4. 

In an announcement on social media, the business said: "Come down and meet us, grab a brew and a brownie and check out our awesome new gym."
